Top is 2009, bottom 2012. Spent a good amount of time last night playing with the second in Lightroom. This morning I was going through my shots from my prior trip to Philmont and came across the top shot. Both photos feature Tooth Ridge in the background.
I took the recent shot knowing that in about a weeks time I’d be over there hiking my way back into base camp.It doesn’t look like much, but that ridge will kick your ass. The hike that day was 10 miles if I remember correctly.
That’s crazy! The whole mountain (closer to the foreground, left side) moved like an inch to the right! All in the course of three years!
